Trump - HAMAS: total destruction awaits terrorists if they refuse to agree.
Trump's Promise Regarding HAMAS
According to The Sun: Donald Trump stated that he would demand 'complete destruction' of HAMAS if the terrorist organization does not relinquish control in Gaza.
The U.S. President made this decisive statement on Saturday as the deadline approached for submitting a 20-point peace plan for HAMAS.
ReutersWhen asked what would happen if the terrorists decided to remain in power, Trump replied to CNN:
“Complete Obliteration!”
Trump also commented on critics who claim that the deal has effectively been rejected by HAMAS. He noted:
“We will find out. Only time will tell!!!”
Plans for Peace and Agreements
The President reported that Benjamin Netanyahu fully supports his ideas for ending the bombings in Gaza and seeking a broader peace in the Middle East.
With optimism, both leaders expressed hope that hostages would be released in the coming days. Trump noted that this
“great deal”for Israel.
This came after the U.S. President announced an agreed withdrawal line for Israeli forces as part of a ceasefire plan.
Trump also set Sunday as a deadline for HAMAS to agree to his deal, warning that “all hell” would break loose against the group if it was not met. He wrote on Truth Social:
“After negotiations, Israel has agreed to the initial withdrawal line, which we have shown to, and shared with, Hamas.”
“When Hamas confirms, the Ceasefire will be IMMEDIATELY effective, the Hostages and Prisoner Exchange will begin, and we will create the conditions for the next phase of withdrawal, which will bring us close to the end of this 3,000 YEAR CATASTROPHE.”
Further Negotiations
Trump also reported that Israel agreed to halt strikes in Gaza in preparation for finalizing the agreement. However, as Reuters notes, Israel continued to shell Gaza on Saturday night and Sunday.
After HAMAS accepted parts of the peace proposal on Friday, Netanyahu remarked to Trump:
“You’re always so f***ing negative.”
Trump replied:
“I don’t know why you’re always so f***ing negative. This is a win. Take it.”
HAMAS agreed to release 20 hostages who managed to survive – in exchange for the complete withdrawal of IDF from Gaza, but they asked to discuss other aspects of the agreement.
Indirect negotiations between HAMAS and Israel will begin on Monday in Egypt, where Trump representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are headed.
The President believes that the terrorist organization is “ready for a lasting peace,” which could be an important step toward ending the war.
Trump stated:
“Israel must immediately stop the bombing of Gaza, so that we can get the Hostages out safely and quickly.”
