Young Ukrainians are increasingly refusing tourist insurance: what risks does it pose.
Young people travel without insurance
According to The Sun: Two-thirds of young people went on a trip without insurance. More than half of them did not think they could get into any trouble. According to a survey of 2000 adults, 58 percent of Generation Z and millennials declined insurance, citing high costs as their reasoning.
“Young travelers often ignore the importance of insurance while traveling for unknown reasons.”
However, such savings can lead to serious problems. For example, 29 percent of those who did not purchase insurance faced difficulties during their trips.
Refusing insurance can lead to unforeseen situations that require not only time but also significant financial costs. It is considered important to anticipate risks, as poor health, theft, or simply flight cancellations can turn into truly monstrous problems. Therefore, it is worth considering the advisability of insurance before new experiences while traveling.
