In the evening of May 29, a shooting occurred in Chernihiv, as reported by 'Glavkom' referencing the city's police.

According to law enforcement, this evening the police received a report of a conflict between citizens on one of the city's streets, during which gunshots were heard. Investigators are currently establishing the circumstances of the incident, and there were no reports of injuries.

According to local social media, a teenager and a woman were involved in the conflict. It is reported that the teenager was under the influence of alcohol and was making advances towards the woman, who responded with a punch to the face. Later, another group of people joined the confrontation, after which an unknown man fired into the air.
