The 'Diia' app will have a feature that works even without the internet.
The government of Ukraine is introducing a new feature in the 'Diia' app that will allow citizens to report issues with mobile communication and the internet.
This news was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on his Telegram channel.
Fedorov emphasized that even in the event of power outages, citizens should be able to call their relatives, summon emergency services, or view the air raid alert map.
Now, if a user is unable to load pages, make calls or send messages, they can report this directly through the 'Diia' app.
The mechanism of the new service allows users to send messages about communication problems even in offline mode.
As soon as the internet is available, the information will automatically be sent to the communication regulator.
According to Fedorov, this approach will help quickly identify regions with unstable communication and resolve telecommunication issues faster. The Minister assured that the new service will be available 'very soon'.
