A true disaster occurred in Kashmir, in the Himalayas - a powerful downpour. According to Reuters, at least 46 people have died, and over 200 are considered missing.
The second bad weather in the Himalayas in the past week hit the town of Chasoti in the Kishtwar district.

The flood took away the community kitchen, security post, and well along the pilgrims’ route to the Machail Mata temple.
'There were many pilgrims at noon, and they were swept away', an official said under the condition of anonymity.
The head of the federal territory government, Omar Abdullah, noted that information from the region is coming in slowly.
Law enforcement, rescuers, army, and air force teams are working at the scene. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
Recall that on August 6, Kyiv experienced heavy rainfall. The streets were flooded.
Later, the Kyiv city council reported that the central districts received half a month's worth of precipitation.
As a result of the heavy downpour in Kashmir, dozens of people have died, and hundreds are considered missing. Several structures were destroyed, and search and rescue operations continue.
