An explosion occurred at the 'Vlast' hotel in Lviv: six injured, including children.
On Monday, August 4, a fire broke out at the 'Vlast' hotel in Lviv. According to preliminary information, a powerful explosion occurred in one of the rooms. It is known that people were evacuated from the building.
The spokesperson of the State Emergency Service Vitaliy Turovets and the press service of the Lviv City Council reported this event on Telegram. Turovets noted that the fire occurred on the ninth floor of the 'Vlast' hotel. Rescuers are working to extinguish the fire.
The Lviv City Council pointed out that the area of the fire is about 300 square meters. All residents and employees of the hotel were evacuated. Currently, six people are known to be injured, including two children. They have been hospitalized by medical staff.
'One man sustained severe burns. The explosion reportedly occurred in his room. The causes of the explosion have yet to be determined. A detective-investigative team is working at the scene'
It should be noted that on the night of August 4, there was a fire in an apartment in the Odesa region. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire. Earlier, there was a fire at a church in the Zakarpattia region, and law enforcement detained a suspect.
