Multiple explosions rocked Kharkiv: casualties reported.
Occupants launched about ten strikes on Kharkiv. There is damage to civilian infrastructure and casualties. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Synyehubov.
The number of casualties is being specified.
According to the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, one of the strikes hit the area of private buildings. Several buildings and a supermarket are on fire. Among the victims are medical workers.
It should be noted that as of the time of publication, an air raid is ongoing in the Kharkiv region. The air forces have warned of the threat of the use of ballistic weapons from the east. Residents of the region should stay in shelters until the all-clear signal.
It is worth mentioning that on August 31, Russian invaders attacked a police car with a drone in Kupiansk of the Kharkiv region. Two law enforcement officers were injured, one was killed.
Additionally, on the evening of August 31, Russia struck the Sloboda district of Kharkiv with a 'Grom-E1' missile from the territory of the Belgorod region, causing damage to residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.
Incidentally, Kharkiv declared a day of mourning on August 31 for the victims of the enemy attack that took place in the city on August 30. Six people died due to the Russian attack, including a 14-year-old girl who was killed near a playground. Furthermore, 97 people were injured, including 22 children. Five children are in satisfactory condition, while a 17-year-old girl is in critical condition. It is known that on August 30, Russian invaders shelled Kharkiv with guided air bombs. One of the strikes hit the central part of Kharkiv, targeting a 12-story residential building.
