In Kharkiv, a drug lab worth 25 million was uncovered: how traffickers concealed drugs

A large-scale drug lab was uncovered in Kharkiv, organized by a citizen of Kyrgyzstan. The preliminary estimate of the seized materials amounts to almost 25 million hryvnias.

According to the investigation, the citizen of Kyrgyzstan, along with his cohabitant and two citizens of Uzbekistan, was involved in the production, storage, and sale of precursors and psychotropic substances. The drug lab was set up in a private house, and sales were made via Telegram and postal services.

“The precursor pyrrolidine, used for producing drugs, was poured into canisters. To avoid attracting attention, they wrapped them in black film, packed them in boxes, placed children's diapers and a box of candies on top. The traffickers wrote fictitious names and sent them by mail throughout the country. Everything looked like household cargo.”

The suspects also committed crimes through Telegram, where they sold the psychotropic PVP. During searches, law enforcement seized a significant quantity of drugs and equipment for their production, with an estimated value of 25 million hryvnias.

All participants of the group have received suspicions for the committed crimes, and prosecutors will move for their detention without the right to bail.

This news reveals the large-scale operations of drug dealers in Kharkiv, their connections with foreigners, and methods of distributing drugs through social networks and postal services. The organization of drug business, under threat of punishment, has become a focus of law enforcement agencies actively uncovering and stopping the activities of such groups.
