A listening device found in the office of the mayor of Lviv: details of the scandal.
According to inkorr.com: A listening device was discovered in the office of the Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi. This occurred on September 17, when specialists found the equipment disguised as a regular charger for a mobile phone.
Sadovyi reported that during a phone malfunction check, incorrectly soldered a SIM card, a memory card, and a microphone were found attached to the charger. The device began to malfunction early last week, after which it was sent for repair. This revealed the truth — listening equipment was found in the office.
'Today a listening device was found in my office. A SIM card, a memory card, and a microphone were poorly soldered to a regular mobile phone charger. Last week, the phone started to freeze, and after sending it for repair — you see the result,' - the mayor shared on social networks.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation into this case, trying to establish the guilty parties and their motives. Andriy Sadovyi personally appealed to the police to investigate the situation surrounding the listening device in his office.
This event has caused public outcry and raised questions about the security of personal information for officials. The situation requires attention, as similar incidents can have serious consequences not only for personal life but also for state security as a whole.
