Heating Supply Situation in Kyiv

According to Novyny.live: As of February 1, 693 residential buildings in Kyiv remain without heating. The most severe situation is observed in the Solomianskyi and Pecherskyi districts, which have the highest concentration of affected buildings. Since yesterday evening, heat has been restored to over 2,700 buildings, demonstrating the active efforts of utility services. This outage comes during a period of typically harsh winter weather in the region.

Restoration Efforts Underway

To restore heating, 114 teams and over 500 workers have been mobilized, including specialists from other regions and Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways). Oleksiy Kuleba noted that additional crews have been engaged, contributing to faster task completion. Furthermore, 69 mobile boiler units are being used to ensure heat in hospitals and maternity wards.

It is important to note that the city's water supply and sewage systems are operating normally, which helps maintain stability in the provision of other essential utilities during the heating restoration. The situation remains under control, and efforts to restore heat to buildings are ongoing.

Restoring the heating supply is critically important for ensuring the comfort of the capital's residents, especially during the winter period.

Oleksiy Kuleba

The concentration of buildings without heat in the Solomianskyi and Pecherskyi districts underscores the need for coordinated work by utility services and the mobilization of additional resources for a swift resolution. The active measures being taken to restore heat indicate the authorities' focus on ensuring normal living conditions for the population, a key factor for overall stability in the city.
