A memorial sign was unveiled in Kyiv for the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: what the symbol of courage looks like.

In Kyiv, the Day of the Air Forces was celebrated with the unveiling of a memorial sign for this component of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Alley of Defenders.

What does the memorial sign look like? The tile features symbols of three branches of the Air Forces: an arrow for the Anti-Aircraft Missile Forces, a lightning bolt for aviation, and a complex lightning bolt for the Radio Engineering Forces. These symbols embody a united force capable of defeating the enemy.

Representatives of the General Staff and command were present at the solemn opening.

The memorial sign for the Air Forces became the seventh on the Alley of Defenders, where there are already accolades in honor of other components of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Recently, memorial signs were unveiled in honor of infantry, marine infantry, army aviation, Special Operations Forces soldiers, Ukrainian sailors, and combat medics.

Interestingly, yesterday the President of Ukraine appointed a new commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - Lieutenant General Anatolii Kryvonozhko. New steps in the development of this component of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were also announced.

The Day of the Air Forces was celebrated in Kyiv and a memorial sign was unveiled in honor of this important component of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
