In Kyiv region, fires broke out in houses due to enemy UAV attack: there are fatalities.
UAV attack on Kyiv region: houses were damaged and people died
Acting head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Mykola Kalashnyk reported that as a result of the UAV attack in the Kyiv region, a high-rise building and a private house were damaged.
'As a result of the debris falling from the shot-down target in one of the settlements of the region, a fire broke out in a 10-story residential building in several apartments. Damage to the facade is recorded on the 6th-9th floors,' he noted.
All emergency services are on site. Evacuation of the residents of the building has been carried out.
In another settlement, a fire broke out in a private two-story house covering an area of 120 m2.
Also, as a result of the attack on houses, there are fatalities.
'A deceased person was found at the fire of a private house due to the falling debris of a downed target. The fire has now been extinguished. The second deceased is a 36-year-old man in another settlement, where an 10-story residential building was damaged,' Kalashnyk reported.
The official added that two more people sought medical help after the fire.
'A 26-year-old man suffered superficial burns of the upper respiratory tract. A 38-year-old woman has an acute reaction to stress... The fire has been extinguished. Currently, near the damaged high-rise building, a point of resilience for residents is operating in a school,' he informed.
