Train Service Suspensions Due to Track Repairs

According to TSN.ua: Suburban train services will be temporarily halted in multiple regions of Ukraine as scheduled maintenance work gets underway. The affected areas include Poltava, Chernihiv, Sumy, the Carpathian region (Prykarpattia), and Ternopil. Repairs are set to begin on March 28 and will continue through April 3.

Schedule Adjustments for Passengers

During this period, several train routes will be suspended. Specifically:

  • On March 28, trains No. 6242 (Hrebinka – Bakhmach) and No. 6934/6548 (Bakhmach – Romny – Romodan) will not run.
  • On March 29, services No. 6541/6542 (Romodan – Romny – Romodan), No. 6543/6931 (Romodan – Romny – Bakhmach-Pasazhyrskyi), and No. 6245 (Bakhmach-Pasazhyrskyi – Hrebinka) are canceled.
  • On March 30, trip No. 6404/6403 (Ivano-Frankivsk – Yaremche – Ivano-Frankivsk) will not operate.
  • From March 31 to April 3, trains No. 6277/6270 (Ternopil – Chortkiv – Ternopil) will be suspended.

To help passengers maintain their mobility, an alternative service will be offered on the Ivano-Frankivsk – Vorokhta – Ivano-Frankivsk route, operated by train No. 6402/6401. Authorities urge travelers to factor these changes into their journey plans.
