Kremlin refuses to discuss Putin's conversation with Zelensky: what is known.
According to ТСН: The Kremlin reports that there is currently no talk of a telephone conversation between dictator Vladimir Putin and the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky.
This information was confirmed by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
"Currently, there is no discussion of such a conversation"
According to him, Putin's conversation with American President Donald Trump is scheduled for the near future.
Zelensky and Putin
It is worth reminding that Fox News Digital, citing sources, noted that Zelensky may talk to Putin for the first time in five years. The last conversation between the presidents took place in the summer of 2020. Since then, the Ukrainian leader has repeatedly tried to contact the Kremlin chief, but he refused. According to a source of the publication, there were supposedly opportunities for negotiations in August and September 2024, but they disappeared again after the start of the Kursk operation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This situation indicates the ongoing difficulties in achieving dialogue between Ukraine and Russia at a high level. The absence of contacts between Zelensky and Putin highlights the complexity of political relations between the countries, which have remained tense for several years. According to the latest news, the further development of events may depend on the international situation and security initiatives from Ukraine and Western partners.
