The Kremlin refused to disclose Putin's whereabouts during the attack on Valdai.
Putin's whereabouts remain a mystery
According to ТСН: The Kremlin did not disclose where President Vladimir Putin was during the alleged 'attack on his residence' at Valdai.
This information was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. At the traditional daily briefing, Russian media representatives asked where Putin was when the alleged drone attack supposedly took place.
“As for the president's whereabouts, under the current conditions, this topic is not subject to public discussion,” said the Kremlin representative.
Peskov also added that the aggressive stance of the Russian Federation towards Ukraine would become even tougher following this incident.
He warned Kyiv of a reaction, stating that Russian military 'know how and when to respond to Ukraine's actions.' Moreover, he suggested that the alleged 'attempt by Kyiv to attack the residence' aims to derail the negotiation process and undermines the peace efforts of U.S. President Donald Trump.
This incident highlights the tension in relations between Russia and Ukraine and may also affect future negotiations regarding the resolution of the conflict. Russia's response indicates an intention to continue a hardline stance in response to Kyiv's actions, which could escalate the situation in the region.
