On Sunday, August 10, a tense situation occurred in one of the supermarkets in Lviv. A man with a gun took hostages, prompting the arrival of law enforcement at the scene.

According to preliminary information, a conflict between two individuals in the store led to one of them deciding to use a weapon.
The situation was commented on by Igor Zinkevich, a deputy of the Lviv City Council.
Igor Zinkevich reported that law enforcement arrived on the scene in time and had already detained the criminal.
