The Ministry of Justice explained how to collect child support from military personnel.
The Ministry of Justice explained the main issues regarding the collection of alimony from military personnel, including the amount of alimony and the procedure for its calculation.
Alimony is collected from all types of income of military personnel, including salary and allowances. The maximum amount of alimony cannot exceed 10 living wages for each child.
The amount of alimony depends on the age of the child and is 1281.5 UAH - 25,630 UAH for children up to 6 years old and 1598 UAH - 31,960 UAH for children aged 6 to 18 years.
In case of changes in circumstances, the amount of alimony may change.
If a military personnel fails to pay alimony, the claimant must go to court and obtain a court order for the collection of alimony.
In the case of forced collection of alimony, the claimant can contact the executor or the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
If the state executor does not take action, the claimant can file a complaint with the head of the executive service or contact the Ministry of Justice.
