Traffic Jams at the Border with Moldova: Where Movement is Free to Romania.
Today, August 12, several traffic jams have formed at the checkpoint towards Moldova on the Odesa-Reni highway. However, there are no traffic jams on the way to Romania, so drivers will not have to stand in queues there.
Traffic Jams to Moldova
There is currently a large queue of cars at the 'Palanka - Mayaki - Udobne' checkpoint, which travelers should consider when planning their route. As for the 'Staro-Kozachy - Tudora' checkpoint, passage there is currently free. At the Reni checkpoint, according to the mapping service, there is a traffic buildup, but it is not significant.
Traffic Jams to Romania
Near the nearest ferry crossing to Romania, the 'Orlivka - Isaccea' checkpoint currently has no traffic jams. No traffic jams have been recorded in the area of the Kofa Canal. Movement near border villages also shows no queues. The trip from Odesa will take about 4 hours.
