Decrypted Conversations Between the USA and Russia: Peskov Commented on Leaked Talks

According to ТСН: The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, commented on the information about allegedly decrypted conversations between the US special envoy Steve Vitkoff and assistant to the President of Russia Yuri Ushakov.

According to him, there are no critical moments in the content of the published materials, and he did not want to discuss the 'respectability of Western publications' that published them.

'Regarding the Western media that publish this, the word 'respectability' should not be used, nobody shies away from anything,' Peskov added in a comment to a journalist.

Peskov also noted that there is currently a serious process ongoing towards a peaceful resolution of the situation in Ukraine. Moscow is hopeful for Vitkoff's visit and his detailed contacts with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.

It should be noted that Bloomberg had previously released a transcript of a phone conversation between US special envoy Steve Vitkoff and assistant to the President of Russia for foreign policy Yuri Ushakov, in which they discussed the preparation of an American peace plan. The content of the conversation contains details of the work on the document to end the war in Ukraine. Bloomberg also published the transcript of a conversation between Ushakov and negotiator from the American administration Kirill Dmitriev, where they discussed ways to promote the Russian version of the 'peace plan' to the US administration.

This affirmation by Peskov indicates Moscow's activity in seeking ways to resolve the conflict peacefully. The Kremlin's position regarding Western media and their information indicates an attempt to control the narrative around the negotiations. At the same time, the released conversations may indicate the complexity and scale of the issues being discussed concerning further developments in the region.
