The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, will discuss important issues with EU and NATO leaders at a meeting in Brussels next week. Politico reports this, citing five sources.

One of the main topics of the meeting will be the possible cessation of the war in Ukraine and the potential establishment of a European peacekeeping mission. The meeting is scheduled for December 18 and will involve EU leaders, the NATO Secretary General, and the President of Ukraine.

The issue of creating a peacekeeping mission is becoming relevant amid pressure from the elected US President Donald Trump, who demands active European involvement in the peace process. Participants in the meeting will also include the Chancellor of Germany, the President of France, the President of Poland, the head of the European Council, and the President of the European Commission.

Also, at the EU leaders' summit, which will take place on December 18-19, French President Emmanuel Macron may raise the issue of deploying a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine after a ceasefire and the achievement of a peace agreement with Russia. This was reported by 'Radio Liberty.'

The issue of peacekeepers is still under consideration and is just an idea. In particular, a peacekeeping mission could be seen as a safeguard against a possible new attack by Russia on Ukraine.

Let us draw attention to the fact that NATO explained what should not be reported to Putin.
