The Kremlin threatens Ukraine with a tougher stance after the attack on Putin's residence.
According to ТСН: The Kremlin made a cynical statement that they "know how, what, and when to respond" to the alleged "attack" by Ukraine on Vladimir Putin's state residence.
This information was provided by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
“Russia will take a tougher negotiating position regarding Ukraine. What exactly that is, the Kremlin will not disclose publicly,” said the representative of the master of the Kremlin.
Peskov claims that the "attempt by Kyiv to attack the residence" aims to disrupt the negotiation process.
Moreover, he brazenly noted that this "attack" is allegedly not only a blow to Putin, but also to U.S. President Donald Trump and his peace efforts. However, the Kremlin representative noted that this incident "cannot shake the trusted dialogue between Putin and Trump."
It should be reminded that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also commented on the supposed "attack" on Putin's residence in the Novgorod region, stating that "the objects and timing of Russia's response have been determined."
Donald Trump, commenting on Russia's accusations regarding the 'attack' by Ukraine, stated that he was very angry about the "attack." He admitted that he was "very mad" when "the Führer" informed him about it. When reminded that Kyiv claims there was no attack, he replied: “Anything is possible. But Putin told me that it happened.”
Thus, the Kremlin's responses to Ukraine's accusations demonstrate the activity of the Russian side within the framework of the information war. At the same time, Trump's position indicates that the situation has potentially dangerous consequences for international relations, as it forces Western leaders to reevaluate Russia's actions and their possible implications for global security.
