Failure in the operation of the Privat24 mobile application and website

On the evening of November 18, information about problems in the operation of the Privat24 mobile application and the Privat24 website became known, reports Glavcom.

Users cannot log in to Privat24 either through their phones or through laptops or PCs. When trying to log in to the website, the error 'Authorization denied' is displayed. PrivatBank did not provide an official reason for the failure; however, users report that scheduled maintenance is being conducted.

As of 01:00 on November 19, the application's operation was restored, and login is now free.

The National Bank of Ukraine has taken measures against PrivatBank, including imposing fines, reports the NBU press service.

On October 7, 2024, the supervisory board of PrivatBank announced the election of Mikael Bjorkner as the head of the bank's management.

Last night, on October 20, PrivatBank was conducting scheduled maintenance on the Privat24 application. Services were temporarily suspended until 07:00.
