The US Secretary of Commerce, Howard Lutnik, announced the launch of sales for 'gold cards' which allow foreigners to obtain permanent residency in the United States.
In an interview with All-In Podcast, he stated that a thousand such cards have already been sold. Lutnik claims that there are around 37 million potential buyers worldwide, but the US plans to distribute only one million cards.
It is worth noting that the 'gold card' can be revoked if the owner violates the law. These are safety measures related to the new immigration program.
