A new round of negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation has begun in Istanbul.
On Wednesday, July 23, negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations are ongoing in Istanbul. Currently, the Ukrainian side is holding a preparatory meeting before the main part of the dialogue begins.

It involved the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Hakan Fidan, and a representative of the Russian delegation Vladimir Medinsky.
As reported, the negotiations will officially start immediately after the internal meeting of the Ukrainian delegation is concluded.
It should be noted that today, July 23, representatives from Ukraine arrived in Istanbul to participate in negotiations with representatives from Russia.
The Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak emphasized the importance of gradual progress in the peace process for Ukraine. According to him, a primary condition on this path is the return of all unlawfully taken Ukrainian children and prisoners by Russia.
