Trump's preparation for a meeting with Putin has been confirmed.
Preparation for the Trump-Putin meeting
According to U.S. National Security Advisor Michael Woltz, preparations for the meeting between newly elected President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin have already begun. Woltz did not specify the exact dates or format of the meeting.
Woltz also mentioned that a phone call between Trump and Putin could take place soon. However, it is still unclear whether there will be a bilateral or even a trilateral meeting involving Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Nevertheless, it is expected that there will at least be a phone call between Trump and Putin in the coming days and weeks.
It is worth reminding that Switzerland has expressed its readiness to organize a meeting between Trump and Putin on its territory. At the same time, a source cited by FT revealed that Putin intends to achieve certain results in negotiations with Trump.
