Trump Reveals Vision for Ending the War in Ukraine.
Trump Plans to End the War Between Russia and Ukraine
Future U.S. President Donald Trump expressed a firm intention to end the hostilities ongoing between Russia and Ukraine. However, it remains unclear how exactly this will be implemented.
This statement was made by Mike Waltz, Trump's future national security advisor. According to him, Trump 'clearly speaks' about his intentions to achieve a resolution to the conflict.
However, Waltz did not reveal the details of the plan to resolve this issue. 'I do not want to get ahead of events, but the main components of the plan concern identifying the individuals who will sit at the table, how to bring them to the negotiations, and the terms of the agreement,' he stated.
According to Waltz, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to cooperate with Trump to end the war.
In turn, the congressman stressed that the situation in eastern Ukraine is critical. He compared this war zone to trench warfare of World War I and reminded of the consequences of a mass escalation of the conflict.
Waltz also noted that the war is expanding as North Korea sends its troops to support Russia.
