A massive rally in support of Ukraine took place in the U.S. capital, Washington. Hundreds of people with Ukrainian flags gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial, holding signs in support of our country. According to media reports, the event is dedicated to the third anniversary of the beginning of the war in Ukraine and gathered activists from various states across America.
During the rally, the Ukrainian anthem was sung and a speech was made by Ukraine's ambassador to the U.S., Oksana Markarova. U.S. flags and the red-and-black flags of Ukrainian nationalists were also prominent. The protesters' signs called to stop Putin and to remember the importance of Ukraine.
This is not the first time Ukrainians have shown their loyalty and support for their homeland in other countries. Also, let us remind you that on February 22, 2025, the 'Stand with Ukraine' event will take place, organized by the World Congress of Ukrainians.
