Let's recall that the energy system of Ukraine is entering the winter season "with the highest possible level of preparedness," as the planned repairs at the power plants in Ukraine were completed on time. This is reported by The New York Times, citing the head of Ukraine's Ministry of Energy, Herman Halushchenko.

During one of the interviews, the former head of "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytsky claimed that the dispute with the Ministry of Energy was about the strategy for ensuring energy supply security. The former official advocated for Ukraine to build dozens of small private power plants throughout the country to make the energy system less vulnerable to terrorist attacks by Russia.
