Russians strike a bus with a drone near Kherson: two dead, 16 injured.

Russian forces carried out a drone attack on a bus with people in the suburbs of Kherson on Saturday, August 9. As a result of this, two men aged about 50 and 70 were killed. The police showed the first moments after this shelling.

Currently, services are identifying the deceased men. In addition, as a result of this strike, 16 passengers were injured: ten women and six men. The youngest injured is 23 years old, and the oldest is 83.

One seriously injured person was evacuated to another region with the diagnosis of open cranial brain injury and head wounds.

'Four passengers who sustained serious injuries to vital organs are currently in intensive care. Three have been operated on and stabilized, and one is being fought for by doctors'

Four other injured are in moderately serious condition with fractures and shrapnel wounds and were taken to the hospital. Seven more were released for outpatient treatment after receiving medical assistance. They have contusions and numerous non-penetrating shrapnel wounds.

'Patrol police promptly arrived at the scene. Together with medical workers, they provided assistance to the victims and helped evacuate one of the injured to the hospital'

Repeat strike

During the attempt to recover the bodies of the deceased from the bus, a repeat FPV drone strike occurred, causing three law enforcement officers to sustain concussions.

As a reminder, the occupiers attacked the bus in the suburbs of Kherson at about 08:30 in the morning. All the injured were inside the vehicle.
