Additionally, on September 8, a series of explosions damaged the only system of main oil pipelines in the city of Penza. The explosions occurred in the Railway district around four in the morning, causing the operation of two main gas pipeline tubes, capable of passing 2 million barrels a day, to stop.
Thus, Ukrainian defenders struck gas distribution stations in Luhansk, resulting in damage to several critical facilities. Earlier, the system of main oil pipelines was damaged in Penza, leading to the cessation of operation of a powerful gas pipeline.
