Strike on Slavutych: how the city is being restored after the drone attack.
As a result of the enemy strike by a drone on a critical infrastructure facility in the city of Slavutych, Vyshhorod district in Kyiv region, the aftermath is still being addressed. The fire was completely extinguished at 21:27 with the participation of the State Emergency Service units from Kyiv and Chernihiv regions. This was reported by "Hlavkom" referring to the State Emergency Service.
Response to the attack
According to inkorr.com: An operational headquarters is working on site, involving local authorities, rescuers, and representatives of all operational services.
To support the city's life-sustaining activities, stationary "Points of Unbreakability" have been opened where residents can charge their gadgets and receive necessary assistance.
Situation with electricity supply
Currently, Slavutych has lost centralized electricity supply. However, efforts are ongoing to restore it, including connecting to backup sources. According to the Kyiv Regional State Administration, all critically important facilities are equipped with generators and continue to operate.
Water supply in the city has already been restored, and the central hospital is functioning normally thanks to alternative energy sources.
It should be noted that electricity supply at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant facilities, which remained without power due to enemy shelling, has been fully restored.
It is worth mentioning that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that due to the Russian strike on one of our energy substations in Slavutych, a blackout lasted more than three hours at the facilities of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Zelensky emphasized that the strike was targeted to paralyze the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
Quick response of rescuers
After the attack by the enemy drone, rescuers and working groups are promptly addressing all arising issues. Restoring electricity and water supply, as well as providing necessary resources to local residents, are top priorities. Actions are coordinated on site for the quick and effective return to normal functioning of the city.
The situation in Slavutych remains complicated due to the consequences of the enemy attack, but operational services are doing everything possible to return the city to normal life. It is important for residents to have access to essential needs, as such situations require quick and coordinated actions from all services.
