Residents of the destroyed building in the Sviatoshyn district, after the missile strike by Russian occupiers on July 31, will soon receive compensation. The district authorities have already processed all applications for such payments. This was reported by the head of the Sviatoshyn District Administration, Heorhiy Zantarai.

According to Zantarai, 440 applications for one-time compensation and 49 applications for housing rent were submitted. The procedure includes a visual inspection of the destruction site by experts and the activities of a special commission.

'We are contacting the city, and the city helps us with experts who conduct the inspection and make conclusions. Then decisions are made on further actions regarding these houses. We want everything to go quickly, but there is a mandatory procedure that must be followed,' said the head of the Sviatoshyn District Administration.

Zantarai noted that all applications have been collected within two weeks. He hopes that by the end of the week all applications will be reviewed and the victims will receive compensation. It is reminded that as a result of the missile strike by Russian occupiers in Kyiv, 26 people died in the high-rise building in the Sviatoshyn district.

The recovery after this tragedy will be long and will take place in stages, while it is important to provide support to the affected residents.
