Russia has attacked the railway in Chernihiv region: trains are delayed

According to inkorr.com: In the Chernihiv region, Russian troops attacked the railway infrastructure, causing delays in the schedule of passenger trains. Trains on the routes Sumy and Chernihiv will currently be running late, as reserve locomotives need to be used.

Delays in train services

The biggest delay is observed with train No. 143 from Sumy to Lviv, which is delayed by seven hours. This delay is a result of shelling in the Chernihiv region, which complicated train movement.

We are inspecting the track; we already know for sure that there is a power outage on the Nizhyn route

The Russian Federation has started to attack Ukrainian railway infrastructure more frequently, aiming to create panic among the population and inflict damage on the economy. These attacks do not have a specific military direction, which creates serious difficulties for Ukrainian carriers and passengers.

Their first goal is to sow panic among passengers, their second goal is to strike at the economy as a whole

Attack in Odesa region

Another attack on the railway occurred in the Odesa region at night on September 27, when drones damaged railway structures. As a result, all trains were halted at a safe distance from the strike zone.

Thus, attacks on railway infrastructure in Ukraine continue to escalate, creating serious obstacles for passenger transport and inflicting significant losses on the country's economy. In this situation, it is important to remain vigilant and ensure the safety of passengers and railway workers.
