According to UATV: On March 24, the Russian military launched an assault on Zaporizhzhia, killing one man and injuring 12 others. The attack began around 2:00 a.m. and involved drone strikes along with five ballistic missiles, damaging roughly 30 buildings across the city.
According to local authorities, nearly 500 residents have filed damage reports with the city administration. The city suffered extensive destruction, and many inhabitants are voicing their distress over the events. A local resident named Valentina recalled:
“We heard something flying. We grabbed our dogs and ran to the hallway. We managed to hide with them. The dogs were terrified.”
Another resident, Svitlana, shared her experience:
“When I heard the drone whistling and then the explosion, I knew it had hit our building or nearby. There was fire, smoke, and the smell of burning.”

Later that same day, Russian forces struck the city again, with one drone detonating near a gas station. Amid this crisis, local officials are distributing emergency aid to those affected. Olena, a representative of the municipal administration, stated:
