Dodgers attempted to escape to Belarus through a mined area (video).
A group of men intended to illegally cross the border to Belarus through an area that was mined. This was reported by the State Border Service.
Border guards claim they stopped the violation and saved lives, but the detained individuals are still held accountable.
The State Border Service urged potential violators to refrain from such actions, as the organizers of such trips are not interested in the safety of their clients.
Dodgers were handed over to TCC workers, reported the border service.
Let us remind you that Odessa police detained a 38-year-old organizer of a "green corridor" to Moldova, who promised to ensure clients' escape across the border outside checkpoints for $9 thousand. He faces up to nine years in prison with confiscation of property for this.
As reported, at least 200 conscription-age men try to leave the country daily.
Also, to illegally cross the border, fugitives began to form groups of 40 or more people. A DPSU spokesperson noted that attempts to illegally cross the border are also recorded at checkpoints, but most such attempts occur in the "green zone" of the border, i.e., outside official checkpoints.
