Is Ukraine preparing an offensive? The occupation administration of Crimea acknowledged panic on the peninsula.
The level of security in Crimea is now higher - Aksyonov
The head of the occupation administration of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, stated that the level of security on the peninsula has significantly increased since the onset of the full-scale war. He claims that Crimea is fully protected from land, and any ground operations from Ukraine are impossible. The military and special services ensure security and take all necessary measures to protect the territory.
«It can be confidently stated that Crimea is completely protected from the land, no «ground operation» that the Ukrainian «talking heads» occasionally speak of is possible,» Aksyonov stated.
Aksyonov also noted that over the past three years, the level of security on the peninsula has significantly increased. The air defense system is operating at a high level and is ready to respond to any threats.
Warnings from representatives
Previously, the head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, and the terrorist Igor Strelkov-Girkin warned the residents of Crimea about the possibility of strikes from Ukraine. They claimed that the recent attacks on military facilities in Crimea could be just the beginning of more serious actions.
These statements raise questions about the real threat from Ukraine and demonstrate certain tension amid Russian-Ukrainian relations regarding occupied Crimea.
