Ukraine and the Czech Republic strengthen arms production: The Armed Forces will receive 1.8 million ammunition.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiga stated that Ukraine and the Czech Republic will enhance cooperation in arms production. By the end of this year, the Armed Forces will receive about 1.8 million ammunition.
Andriy Sybiga reported this following a meeting with the head of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs on August 12.
'This is not just assistance, it is an important vital contribution to our defense. The supply of ammunition purchased with frozen Russian assets is an example of determination. Thank you, Czech Republic,' he emphasized.
At the same time, he added that the defense cooperation between the countries is not limited to the supply of essential weapons. Ukraine highly appreciates the participation of the Czech Republic in the aviation coalition, in particular the establishment of a training center for Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters.
Other statements by the minister
Recall that earlier, Sybiga also named the principle that Ukraine adheres to for peace. He noted that any concessions to the aggressor only provoke new acts of aggression.
Moreover, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs sharply responded to the proposal for territorial concessions. According to him, all answers to such questions are found in our Constitution.
Ukraine and the Czech Republic continue to expand cooperation in arms production, as well as in the field of defense cooperation in general. The exchange of ammunition supplies and joint training projects demonstrate the depth of partnership between the two countries.
