Ukraine officially announced the ceasefire to Russia under pressure from President Trump, European leaders, and President Zelensky. Russia has four days to submit its own document to begin real negotiations and end the war.
“We confirm Ukraine's readiness for a complete and unconditional ceasefire and further diplomatic work. We are open to meetings with the Russians and expect their 'memorandum' so that the meeting is not in vain and can truly help end the war.”
At the same time, the Russian Federation refused to submit a similar document to the USA, claiming there are no agreements on mediation in the exchange of documents with any other country.
