Ukraine successfully completed the repatriation of 1.2 thousand bodies of those who died as a result of the conducted measures. This information was confirmed by the Coordinating Headquarters for the Handling of Prisoners of War.
According to the Russian side, these bodies belong to Ukrainian citizens, including servicemen. Law enforcement agencies will now begin the process of examination and identification of these individuals to hand over the bodies to their families for burial.
Thus, Ukraine has successfully completed the process of returning the bodies of fallen servicemen, and now the identification and transfer to their families for burial will begin.
