According to UATV: On February 26, the presidents of Ukraine and the United States discussed their readiness to continue negotiations in a trilateral format. The next round of talks is scheduled for early March. The discussions involved Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, U.S. President's representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, as well as Ukrainian politicians Rustem Umerov and David Arakhamia.
"I spoke today with U.S. President Donald Trump's representatives, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, following their meetings with Rustem Umerov and David Arakhamia. We are grateful to the President of the United States for his personal efforts to end the war," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The Ukrainian President also emphasized his hope to finalize the achieved agreements for real security guarantees and to prepare for a leaders' level meeting. "We expect the format to be in early March. We need to finalize everything that has been achieved for real security guarantees and prepare for a meeting at the leaders' level," Zelenskyy added.
