Ukraine produced the first 100 units of missile weapons – Zelensky.
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine produced the first hundred units of missile weapons this year and plans to increase production. He stated this in his address on November 9.
«This year, we have achieved significant results in several directions. This is our Ukrainian artillery - shells and cannons. These are also drones of various types for various tasks, which not only help defend frontline positions and strike at the occupiers but also strike deep into Russia. We will increase this production», he said.
Now more than 800 companies are engaged in the production of weapons for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and Ukraine's security», Zelensky added.
The President also noted that Ukraine received systematic models for investment from partners for the first time.
«In particular, this is a model from Denmark, which invests in production. We also agreed with France on another model, which involves attracting technologies for the construction of relevant productions. We also have preliminary agreements with other partners regarding the localization of weapon production in Ukraine. This will constantly strengthen us», he noted.
Earlier it was reported that many Ukrainian weapon manufacturers plan to move their activities abroad.
Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers approved a new support program for the defense-industrial complex, under which important enterprises can receive a loan of up to 500 million UAH at 5% per annum for 5 years.
