The President announced a new treasurer of the USA via Truth Social
President Donald Trump announced late Wednesday night via Truth Social that state senator from Georgia, Brandon Beach, will be the next treasurer of the USA.
The 63-year-old politician Beach, born in Louisiana, was elected as the Republican senator from Georgia in 2013. He represents the 21st district, covering parts of Cherokee and Fulton counties.
'Brandon helped us secure a great and historic victory for our movement in the great state of Georgia, and since 2012 he has worked tirelessly in the Georgia State Senate. As our next treasurer, Brandon will embody the values of Financial Responsibility, Economic Growth, and will help launch the Golden Age of America,' Trump wrote in a post. 'Congratulations to Brandon!'

Senator Beach is a graduate of Louisiana's Centenary College and the Louisiana Frost School of Business. In 2017, he received the 'Legislator of the Year' award from the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the 'Young Leader' award from GOPAC Inc. in April 2023.
He also serves as president and CEO of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce and president and CEO of the Greater North Fulton Improvement District.
Under his leadership, the district has invested over $2 million to create new infrastructure worth $30 million, according to the Georgia Department of Economic Development.
Committees he is involved with include the Regional Business Coalition, the Oversight Board of Grady Hospital, the Greater Metro Atlanta American Heart Association, the Association of Executives of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Encore Park, and the Roswell Ambassador Bureau, according to the department.
Currently, Beach resides in Alpharetta, Georgia, with his wife Shuntel Pile Beach and their two children.

After Beach's nomination, Trump announced via Truth Social that Brent Bozell will become the US ambassador to South Africa.
'Brent is the founder of the Media Research Center (MRC), which for many years has been exposing the hypocrisy of fake news,' Trump wrote in a post. 'Brent brings fearless tenacity, extraordinary experience, and extensive knowledge to a nation that desperately needs it. Congratulations to Brent!'
Before building MRC, Bozell was the president of the National Conservative Political Committee and the National Conservative Fund.
A graduate of the University of Dallas, he is the chairman of the ForAmerica organization, which is 'committed to restoring America to its founding principles.'
He is married with five children and seventeen grandchildren.
The press office of the Georgia Senate and Beach did not respond to Fox News Digital's request.
