Up to €1,500 in Business Grants Available for Ukrainians: Who Qualifies in April.
Grant Program in Ukraine
According to Novyny.live: A new grant initiative backed by the German government is rolling out in Ukraine during April 2026, offering eligible individuals up to €1,500 to launch their own business. This program specifically targets socially vulnerable populations, with a focus on the Shyrokiv community in the Zaporizhzhia region. It aims to empower those who have faced economic hardship since the onset of the full-scale conflict.
The financial support, capped at €1,500 (roughly 77,000 Ukrainian hryvnias), is intended for businesses that have suffered losses starting from February 24, 2022. Priority is given to the following socially vulnerable groups:
- internally displaced persons,
- single parents,
- large families,
- war veterans,
- families of the wounded or deceased,
- people with disabilities,
- households with pregnant women or infants,
- low-income households.
Applications for these grants must be submitted by April 7, 2026. Veterans, individuals with disabilities, and single parents are among those eligible to apply for this business startup funding. For more details about the program, interested parties can contact +380752998854.
Why This Program Matters
Backed by the German government, this grant initiative represents a critical effort to foster entrepreneurship among Ukraine’s most vulnerable citizens, especially as the country works to rebuild its economy in the wake of war. By providing direct financial aid to conflict-affected individuals, the program offers a tangible opportunity for them to start their own ventures and improve their economic stability.
