Ukrainians may face gas debt: in which case they are threatened.
In Ukraine, you can pay for gas distribution after the 20th of the month, but there is a nuance. This was reported by the Sumy branch of 'Gazmeryzhi' on Facebook.
It is noted that payments received after the 20th are not taken into account when forming the bill for the next month. In other words, if you pay for gas distribution after the 20th, your bill for the next month will still show a debt, even though you have already paid. In fact, your late payment will only be accounted for in the following bill.
For example, if you make a payment on April 21, your debt will be reflected in the May bill. However, this payment will only be considered in the June bill.
The message also states that payments made after the 20th will be credited to your personal account, but will only appear in the bills after a month. Therefore, to avoid misunderstandings, it is recommended to make payments by the 20th of each month.
Starting from May 1, new gas tariffs are in effect in Ukraine.
