The state of deposits of individuals in Ukrainian banks
According to the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Individuals, as of March 1, 2025, the total amount of deposits of individuals (including individual entrepreneurs) in Ukrainian banks amounted to UAH 1,391.1 billion.
In February, the total growth in the accounts of Ukrainians amounted to UAH 12.7 billion.
Distribution of individual deposits
As of March 1, 2025:
- Deposits in national currency amounted to UAH 897.6 billion (an increase of UAH 14.0 billion in February 2025).
- Deposits in foreign currency decreased to UAH 493.5 billion (a decrease of UAH 1.2 billion in February 2025).
Deposits of individual entrepreneurs
As of March 1, 2025, individual entrepreneurs accounted for 3.2% of the depositors and 10.8% of the total amount of deposits. The total amount of their deposits was UAH 150.4 billion. It is important to note that the deposits of individual entrepreneurs are covered by the guarantees of the Deposit Guarantee Fund for Individuals.
