Ukrainians want to be deprived of disability payments: what the Cabinet is preparing.
The government of Ukraine plans to divide citizens into capable and incapable of working using the digital system "ePotential". Instead of the Medical-Social Expert Commission (MSEC), a group of specialists will assess the condition of a person, taking into account their ability to return to work. Depending on the assessment, each person will receive a certain level of support."
"This change involves establishing disability and the need for support using digital tools. An assessment of work capacity will also be conducted to determine if a person can return to work and earn their own income," - stated on the government portal.
Three statuses are introduced: full restriction of work capacity (with automatic monthly payments), partial restriction, and capable individuals who will not receive social payments. The assessment of work capacity will be conducted remotely and anonymously after rehabilitation.
