Funding Road Repairs in Ukraine in 2023
According to Novyny.live: Ukraine requires 40-50 billion hryvnias for road repairs in 2023. Since the state budget cannot fully cover this amount, the government plans to secure additional funds from international partners. The State Restoration Agency will focus on repairing major roads damaged by winter weather.
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced the allocation of an extra 3 billion hryvnias from the reserve fund for these purposes. However, according to Oksana Savchuk, more than 50 billion hryvnias are needed for comprehensive road repairs.
Today, I think it will be quite difficult for the budget to allocate 50 billion hryvnias, although the government is doing everything possible to make it happen.

He also stated that work is expected to be completed by June. As a result, the issue of funding road repairs remains pressing, given the large scale of required investments and limited budget capacity.
