According to ТСН: The Ukrainian negotiation team has returned from the United States, where they met with representatives of Donald Trump's administration. The parties have developed the main structure of the future agreement, which consists of 20 key points.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening address.

Negotiation details in the USA

According to him, a report on the results of the trip will be presented tomorrow by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov. The main focus during the meetings was on security guarantees for Ukraine.

“Today, our negotiation team is returning after meetings in America with representatives of President Trump, and tomorrow morning I expect a full report on the prepared documents. We have worked a lot, primarily on documents regarding security guarantees, as well as the 20 points of the main document - the basic framework that the Ukrainian and American delegations discussed,” the president said.

Pressure on the Kremlin and economic leverage

Zelensky emphasized that the success of peace initiatives depends on the ability of the USA and allies to force Russia to abandon aggression. He stressed that the only effective way to influence Vladimir Putin is to deprive him of resources for conducting the war.

The head of state noted that the main pressure tools remain: lowering world prices for Russian oil, increasing international sanctions, and continuous financial depletion of the Russian military machine.

“Putin fights as long as he has money to buy loyalty from his surroundings and the Russian population, while also paying for killings on the front. And this year, much has already been done to reduce the funds of the Russian military machine,” Zelensky emphasized.

At the same time, he expressed skepticism about the sincerity of the Kremlin's intentions to stop aggression, noting that after years of hybrid and full-scale war, “it's hard to believe that Putin can live without killings and invasions.”

Recall that President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that in the coming days, the Russians may launch a massive strike on Ukraine.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine noted that in recent weeks, the Russian army has significantly increased the intensity of attacks.

In the context of recent events, it is important to note that negotiations with international partners and security guarantees remain key topics for Ukraine. The situation at the front continues to remain tense, and the actions of the Kremlin raise concerns not only in Ukraine but also around the world. This reinforces the urgency of international support in the fight against Russian aggression.
