Ukrainian Drones Disrupt 71% of Russian Military Supplies in the South: Key Details.
Sharp Decline in Military Cargo Traffic
According to Espreso.tv: Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, reported a major drop in military cargo traffic along the 'E58-Pustota' route. Starting June 7, all military freight movement on this road was banned, causing daily overall traffic to fall from 11,000 to 6,500 vehicles.
The section running through the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Mariupol-Berdyansk-Melitopol-Simferopol saw a 71% reduction over two weeks. Military cargo traffic alone plummeted from 3,800 to 1,100 vehicles per day, highlighting a severe decline in supply deliveries on this corridor. The total cumulative decrease in military supplies reached 71%.
'As of June 7, the commander of the 'Vostok' military group issued an order banning military cargo traffic on the 'E58-Pustota' route.' – Robert "Madyar" Brovdi
Brovdi also stressed that 'this traffic collapse is not a blockade,' indicating the situation remains under control. These changes were made possible by Ukrainian forces' precision strikes—notably, starting June 5, the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces took the Donetsk Airport under fire control.
Impact on the Operational Situation
The reduction in military cargo traffic on the 'E58-Pustota' route may signal shifting battlefield conditions and the effectiveness of Ukrainian operations. The ban on military freight movement, along with the establishment of fire control over key areas, is likely affecting enemy logistics and supply chains, thereby altering the conflict's dynamics.
These developments underscore the critical need to monitor the region closely, as military actions continue to reshape the overall course of the war.
