Control Over Ivozhanske and the Frontline Situation

According to Espreso.tv: According to a statement from the communications center of the 'Kursk' military group, the settlement of Ivozhanske remains under the control of Ukraine's Defense Forces. While Russia's Ministry of Defense has alleged that it holds the village, Ukrainian officials label these reports as deliberate manipulation. Over the past day, 251 combat engagements were recorded along the front line, with Ukrainian aviation, missile units, and artillery striking 20 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.

The communications center of the 'Kursk' group also reported that Russian forces suffered 1,260 casualties in a single day. In their remarks, representatives of the group stated:

“Claims about fighting involving the 71st Brigade are yet another fabrication from Russian staff fantasists.”

They further noted that Russian generals, 'tired of taking losses in their own border regions, are moving the front line in the only way they can—with their keyboards.' As a result, while the situation on the front remains tense, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold the settlement of Ivozhanske.
